Home Furnishings Specialist – Full Time:

The successful candidate is outgoing, self-motivated, and detail oriented. Rotmans offers the largest selection of furniture, mattresses, flooring and accessories in New England and our home furnishing specialists use that selection to help make each client’s home a haven for their unique lifestyle.

Responsibilities include:
•Greet customers and qualify their furniture needs and wants
•Introduce customers to the Rotmans showroom and product lines
•Highlight and explain current promotions and special offers
•Be available to suggest home furnishing options to your customer
•Answer product information questions
•Calculate product costs and estimated arrival times
•Work with room dimensions to create appropriate room settings
•Work with buyers to find the right product for your client
•Learn the latest software applications for the home furnishings industry
•Explain payment/finance options, delivery schedules and procedures
•Track orders and update customers with arrival information
•Answer any post-delivery questions or concerns

Rotmans will provide professional product and sales training during the training phase. Mentors will be available for ongoing assistance after training is completed. Office Professional – Part Time:

Part time experienced office assistant needed to work Mondays 5pm-9pm, Fridays 5pm-9pm, and Saturdays/Sundays 10am-6pm every other weekend, with the ability to also fill in at other times when needed. Duties include assisting customers, answering phones, cash handling and related tasks. Must be detail oriented, have excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to multi-task as well as work in a fast paced environment. Computer proficiency required & retail experience is a plus. $12 per hour. Benefits include paid time off, 401K and a generous merchandise discount plan.
